27And We have (also) destroyed (other) towns around you, while We had given to them a variety of signs, so that they might return (from disbelief). 28So, why is it that they were not helped by those whom they had taken as gods beside Allah in order to attain closeness (to Him)? Instead, they vanished from them. That was, in fact, their falsity and a thing they used to fabricate. 29And (recall) when We directed a group of Jinns towards you, listening to the Qur’ān. He said: "O Abdullah, what did you see?" I informed him, and he said: "I was afraid that you would go out and some of them would snatch you away." I said: O Messenger of Allah, I heard them making noise. He said: "They were disputing over a slain one of theirs, and I judged with the truth between them."
