And when He, glorified and exalted is He, mentioned these virtues, the result was that they are characterized by complete safety, just as Paradise - which is their cause - is characterized by it. This was a clear indication of their greatness. So He, the Most High, said: ﴿Peace﴾ meaning very great ﴿is it﴾ meaning it is nothing but safety and good in which there is no evil. And that peace and blessing remains in it ﴿until﴾ meaning to ﴿the rising of dawn﴾ meaning its rising, the time of its rising, and the place of its rising, in which there is no evil as in other than its night. The sun does not rise in its morning between the horns of Satan, if Allah wills, and this is the secret of the reading of al-Kisai [with the kasrah] - and Allah knows best. The expression
