Commentary

And when blood is the most abundant of the humors and the most intense in agitation, its disease does not resemble anything of the diseases of the remaining humors. Despite that, it is quick to heal if its treatment is applied and it is treated with a stronger overpowering matter. Knowledge is often associated with wealth, and the slip of a scholar surpasses the slip of others. He said, defining after the definition of the divine matters regarding the soul, clarifying the division of the rejected human being to the lowest of the low, confirming his state and deterring him from his misguidance: ﴿No﴾ meaning, let the world refrain from tyranny, if you truly attain wealth. ﴿Indeed, mankind﴾ meaning, this type which is your type, and it is in his nature to be preoccupied with himself and to reflect on his inclinations. ﴿Surely, he transgresses﴾ meaning, it is in his nature - except for whom Allah has protected, glorified and exalted is He - to exceed the limit which he should not surpass, just as the sanguine humor increases. And he emphasized this due to the disbelief of most of creation regarding it, for there is no tyrant who admits that he has transgressed.
