Commentary
And the day, which is the cause of the unveiling of matters, like death which removes from the soul the attachments of the body, so it reveals to it what it had of disgraceful things. And the clarity that enlightens the soul by removing the confusion. When it appears, it shows a great appearance by the light of the sun, and it reveals what was hidden, leaving nothing for the observer to be confused about. So whoever intends secrecy seeks the night, and whoever desires clarity seeks the day, whether he is among the righteous or among the wicked.
