Commentary
And when He commanded him to remind everyone, He divided the people into two groups: one group that accepts the remedy, and another group that does not accept it. This is to inform that He, glorified and exalted is He, knows all of both groups, collectively and individually, specifically. He has always known that, but He did not specify a trial from Him for His servants so that the proof would stand against them by what they recognize among themselves, and He has the conclusive proof. So He said, urging gratitude for the faculties [of] reason and similar ones, and the faculties of the heart, tongue, and others: ﴿He will remember﴾, meaning with a promise that there is no changing in it, even if it is in the most subtle forms of reminder - as indicated by the merging. ﴿Who fears﴾, meaning in his nature there is a type of fear, and he is the happy one for what has been decreed for him within himself of the utmost happiness for accepting the lenient monotheism. He will remember what he knows of it within himself and will take heed. For indeed, fear is a motivator for every good, and he will enjoy with his heart and form in the highest paradise, living therein a good life without illness or fatigue, forever without end or cessation.
