And when he knew of the preservation and creation in the mentioned stages, that he was created for a great matter, which is the reckoning, and it was established by the ability to begin from this water and to develop it in the states mentioned by the mention of water, it is known to everyone that the ability to bring back is without difference except that the return to what we know is easier. The Arabs denied it. He said, confirming as a resumption for whoever says: I have looked into that, so understand: "Indeed, He" (p-380) meaning its Creator, the One capable of what was mentioned of its affairs, indicated by the greatness of it by the construction of "created" for the effect of it, "on its return" meaning the return of man in futility and his return to his original state and his first creation as he was before death and on the return of this flowing water to its channels from which it came and its dissolution into water after its solidification into bones, flesh, and blood. "Certainly capable" meaning His ability is firmly established for that in the most complete stability. So, among the easiest of what is with Him, glorified and exalted is He, is to return him after his old age to his offspring by making him an adult, then a young man, then a child, then a piece of chewed flesh, then a clinging substance, then a drop, and then He brings him to the mention of the man and the womb of the woman, then to his loins and the ribs, and that is easier for Him. And that is like His ability to bring him back by resurrection. He expressed by saying "that he" and did not say: indeed Allah - for example, because it is said to every person: who brought you into this state and made you in this attribute? So if he says: the One capable of everything by His complete ability, it is said to him: and with that very ability, He will bring you back. And if he had named for him a name other than the pronoun, he might have said: [not - ] He is my Creator.
