And when it was from their denial, and it is the greatest of their denial, they attacked them in the greatest verses of the Qur'an by saying: it is a fabricated lie, it is merely the legends of the ancients, meaning their falsehoods, not truths of what it informs of, while indeed He has established the greatest proof for Himself by Himself with what He has of the miraculousness that confirms it is true. He said, expressing with the pronoun, indicating that it is for its greatness in every heart, there is no absence of it at all. There is no discourse for anyone except in it, based on what you estimate: the matter is not as the disbelievers claim in the Qur'an: 'Rather, it is' meaning this Qur'an which falsehood does not come to it from before it nor from behind it, a revelation from the Wise, Praiseworthy. 'Qur'an' meaning comprehensive of every noble attribute reaching the highest peak in every honor. 'Majid' meaning noble, generous, in which there is nothing of the blemishes of blame, mighty, [great - ] noble, high, generous, good in character, unique in its structure and meanings, both hidden and witnessed, containing the summation of praise. It is not a created saying, nor is it created, but it is the attribute of the Creator. Rather, it is generous with all that is desired from the beauties for whoever's intention is truthful and whose inner self is pure, and whose ambition is elevated and whose nature is noble. So, His glory refuses for Him that any criticism should touch His domain in any way. His glory is the testing of His rulings from among the immediate witnessed and the future known of the world of what is witnessed. It was known by certain experience with what has been transmitted from past stories and what testifies for it from the present evidence and what renews with the times from its examples, its likenesses, and its forms. So, whoever said that it is poetry or sorcery or witchcraft - or other than that from the falsehoods - he has denied.
