Commentary
'And it has been given permission' means it was intense in listening, obedience, and submission in the most complete manner, like one who has an attentive ear and a tranquil, contented soul. 'To its Lord' means to the command of the Creator who has chosen it and the Planner of all its affairs. It is now, even though it is submissive, that its submission is apparent to most of the creation, which are the established ones. As for the ones who deny, they may attribute its effects to the natural elements and the stars. However, at the time of the splitting, complete revelation will occur, and no one will have any doubt. 'And it has been justified' in the passive form means that it is innate for it that this is a truth established for it. It is a reality for it because it is created by Him, glorified and exalted is He. Every created being is indeed rightful in submission to its Lord. It has always been obedient to Him in its beginning and its end, but there, there will be complete revelation for all of mankind.
