And when He clarified what they have of the action that is for the heart and the form, He followed it with words of reprimand and scolding that is the torment of the soul. He built it for the effect because the one who is harmed hears it, not because it is from a specific source. And as a sign that he is able to say to them, every one whose saying is valid from the keepers of the Fire and from the people of Paradise and others, because there is no prevention with them: ﴿Then it will be said﴾ meaning to them after a period, as a scolding, reproach, and condemnation: ﴿This﴾ meaning the torment that is befalling you ﴿which you were﴾ (p-325) meaning by what you have of the vile natures ﴿by it﴾ meaning specifically because your denial of it in relation to it is due to its ugliness and your firm establishment in it and your adherence to it (?). ﴿You deny﴾ meaning you cause the denial of it and you renew it, remaining upon it.
