Commentary
And when the result of preserving deeds is the reward for them, this produces a clarification of what the writing was for, distinguishing between the good-doer and the wrongdoer, which is not correct in the wisdom of a Wise One or the generosity of a Generous One, other than by His saying for the purpose of their denial: "Indeed, the righteous" meaning those who act according to what is ample for them of that which pleases Allah, glorified and exalted is He, "are certainly in bliss," meaning surrounding them, never separating from them, nor will they separate from it at all in this world in the bliss of witnessing, and in the Hereafter in the bliss of vision and existence in this abode meaning, and in the Hereafter in a sensory way. So every bliss in Paradise for them is among the delayed gifts, its subtleties in this world for them are immediate.
