And when this indicates the generality of the question, he mentioned what arises from it that indicates either bliss or punishment, and he said: ﴿And when the scrolls﴾, meaning the papers in which the deeds of the servants are written ﴿are spread﴾, meaning they are distributed, opened in a great opening to their owners in the easiest manner. The happy one will come to his right from the direction of his face in a way that will be a glad tidings for him, and the wretched one will come from behind his back and to his left after it had been [folded] at his death.
