And when the intention is to look at the creations of Allah, glorified and exalted is He, in it. And the actions and words of man in denying the resurrection are the actions of one who denies that creation. Allah, glorified and exalted is He, said, detailing what shares in His specific and general knowledge of His creations in food. He emphasized a warning that denying the resurrection necessitates denying the creation of plants and their revival. This is in a clear style that indicates that man is in need of everything in existence. If anything were to be lacking from it, his matter would be disrupted. He began first with the heavenly, as it is more noble, and with the water, which is the life of all things, as a reminder to him of the beginning of his creation: "Indeed, we" meaning regarding what we have of greatness, "poured forth the water" meaning that from which we made everything living, "in abundance." And He then mentioned the earth, which is like the female in relation to the sky, and He said:
