And when all of that indicates the ability to resurrect, because it is the creation of something that is more intense than the creation of a human being from nothing, he followed it with what one can imagine regarding resurrection every day and night twice. He said: ﴿And He darkened﴾ meaning He made it dark with a darkness that one cannot find guidance with in what was in the state of light. ﴿Its night﴾ meaning with the absence of its sun, so it concealed its light with the extension of the shadow of the earth over all that the sun had appeared upon. He added it to it because it is related to its movement, and he began with it because it was first, and nothingness is before existence. ﴿And He brought forth its dawn﴾ with the rising of its sun, so it illuminated its day.
