Commentary

And when he mentioned the calling, he explained its fruit by saying, starting anew, alerting the people of desire who are amazed and arrogant. The context has guided to the fact that the estimation is, he called him saying: ﴿Go to Pharaoh﴾, meaning the king of Egypt who had enslaved the Children of Israel. Then he feared one of them, so he began to kill their sons out of fear of him. And you were raised in his house for his destruction, so that he would know that there is no escape from Our decree. You were the most honored of the Children of Israel, and the cause of his destruction was with him in his house, in his sight and hearing, while he was unaware of that. Then you killed one of them and left their land fearful, waiting.

And when he commanded him to go to him, he justified it with what necessitates his destruction at his hands, blessings and peace be upon him, indicating to him the good news that there is no way for him against him. And for this reason, he emphasized it to him, for such a matter requires the nature of humans to pause in it. He said: ﴿Indeed, he has transgressed﴾, meaning he has exceeded the limit and has deserved to be confronted with seriousness. Then he caused him to go to him by saying.
