Then, no. His matter in its appearance is a deterrent against differing in it. They will know, meaning after death, after their knowledge of it before, what will be of His matter with a truthful promise, there is no doubt in it. Their state then will be like the state of the world in their stopping from obstinacy. They are between submissive and humiliated, and insignificant and exalted. As for whom We have chosen from him for faith, he will be submissive. And whom We intend for his misery with disbelief, you will see him humbled and degraded. All share in the taste of the truth of certainty. And this was as the Exalted said after a short time, when the days of Allah caused them to be humbled and forced their noses down and made their foreheads low. And the reading of Ibn 'Amir, as it was said about him, is with the letter of address in the warning, and it indicates the appeal for repentance.
