Commentary
'And when he mentioned the recompense of the disbelievers and indicated at the end of it that it is a disgrace, he mentioned the recompense of the believers who oppose them. He said, beginning anew and affirming the denial of the disbelievers by it: ﴿Indeed, for the righteous﴾, meaning those firmly rooted in fear, which necessitates taking protection from what they fear. They protected themselves from the wrath of Allah by what pleases Him from deeds, words, and states ﴿is a success﴾ [meaning it is a victory -] and a place of victory and a time of victory with eternal comfort from all that has been mentioned of the tyrants, who are their opposites. They have exposed themselves to punishment completely. Then he explained it or replaced it with the omission of an addition, meaning victory:
