And when He magnified what they were asking about, being amazed by them in it, He clarified it by saying, informing that this suggestion was only for the purpose of glorification: ﴿About the news﴾ meaning from the message of the Messenger and his bringing of the clear Book, and his informing about the Day of Judgment, and the witness of Allah over all of that with the miracle of this discourse, and with His decisive and swift promise.
