And when he mentioned the verse in themselves, he mentioned some of the verses of the horizons. He began with the elevated one because it is more honorable. He said, establishing for the action because the terrifying is the absolute opening. And because that is more indicative of the power of the doer and the insignificance of matters to him: ﴿And the heaven was opened﴾ meaning he split this type with a great splitting. And the Kufans read it with lightening because the multiplicity indicates what resulted from the opening from his saying: ﴿So it was﴾ meaning [all of it -] existence as if it were a nature for it ﴿with doors﴾ meaning very many due to the numerous great splits such that it became as if it had no reality except the doors.
