And when he mentioned his beginning, he followed it with his end and said: ﴿To bring forth﴾ meaning by Our greatness which We have connected to the causes by the means ﴿of it﴾ meaning the water [causing -] ﴿grain﴾ (p-199) meaning a star that has grain, which is his intended purpose because it is what the servants feed on. He specified it because it is the intended purpose and began with it because it is the sustenance by which there is survival, like wheat and barley and others. ﴿And vegetation﴾ in which they enjoy and take pleasure, and the animals graze on it.
