'Woe on that Day' (p-187) means when the separation occurs 'for the disbelievers.' This refers to that which has been mentioned previously in this surah, or to something from it, or to something else that has been brought by the messengers. This phrase has been repeated as many times as the parts of the section or parts of the answer, so that each phrase serves as a warning against disbelief in one of those parts. This tenth phrase confirms the previous nine and completes the count and meaning of them. It indicates that woe for them is everlasting without end, just as the one does not have an end.
