And when the meaning was: there is no escape from Allah except to Him, because His dominion is encompassing and His power is comprehensive, he said, translating from it, mentioning the attribute of kindness, blaming himself for not being grateful: "To your Lord," meaning the One who is kind to you with various forms of kindness alone, not to anything else. "On that Day," meaning when these things are present, "the settled place," meaning the settling of all creation, their speakers and their silent ones, and the place of their decision and the time of it, to His judgment, glorified and exalted is He, and His will, outwardly and inwardly. There is no judgment for anyone other than Him in any way, whether outwardly or inwardly, as it is in this world.
