And when he commanded to avoid dirt in clothing and intended both the physical and the moral aspects, and that was evident in the physical aspect, he made that a metaphor for avoiding all impurities. ﴿So avoid﴾ meaning openly and in worship, so that you may attain reward just as you used to avoid it secretly and as a habit. Thus, you received good praise to the extent that Quraysh only calls you the trustworthy and does not compare you to anyone among them.
