And when this news about the blessing of the Benefactor and the punishment of the one being punished is a cause for remembrance, denial arose from them. So He said: "What is it for them" while they are "turning away from the reminder," meaning the great remembrance, especially of the Qur'an specifically and generally of other things, "turning away" and only approaching falsehood. This is among the greatest wonders, because the nature of man, when warned about something, is to be extremely cautious of it. Just as if a traveler were warned of a lion on his path, he would exert his utmost effort to avoid it and be cautious of it, even if the informer were lying. So how do they turn away from this greatest danger, while the informer is the most truthful of the truthful?
