And when his falling into this slander was indeed great due to the evident lies in it and due to the opposition of the one who is the strong, firm, avenging, overpowering, and great, and for other reasons that distance one from falling into it, the meaning was emphasized as a deterrent from such a thing and an encouragement to repent from it. So he said, expressing with a tool of distance to indicate the greatness of this killing by using it and by repetition: ﴿Then he was killed﴾ meaning he perished and was cursed, this obstinate one perished and was cursed in a manner that is of the utmost greatness in what comes after death in the Barzakh and the Day of Resurrection ﴿How he determined﴾.
