Commentary
And when this one informed that most of creation will arrive on the Day of Resurrection upon their disbelief, their wickedness, and their evil deeds, and that this was something that concerned him out of his compassion for creation, blessings and peace be upon him, and when he does not know who has set them up for enmity, he belittled their matter and diminished their status with him by his promise of sufficiency, saying, beginning to alert to the causes of destruction, the greatest of which is delusion, and it is the semblance of its spouse, which is desire: "Leave me," meaning, let me be in whatever state has occurred, "and whoever," meaning, with everyone "I have created," meaning, I have brought into existence from nothing and initiated in the stages of creation, while he is "alone," having no wealth, no child, and nothing, and while I am one, firmly established in the attribute of oneness, no one has shared in my creation. He did not thank this blessing but rather denied it by associating partners with Allah, glorified and exalted is He, who is capable of annihilating him after bringing him into existence.
