And when it became apparent to the soul of the listener regarding his saying, blessings and peace be upon him, to those who have accumulated upon him from that, he began the response by saying, clarifying what is impossible for the prophets, may blessings and peace be upon them, from calling upon other than Allah and whoever abandons calling upon Him from opposing anything of His command. He said, or when his soul longed for the recitation of the opening to what would repel what he saw from them, Allah, the Exalted, said, guiding him to that: "Say" meaning to whoever crowded around you, counting them among the ignorant of what you do because they acted like the ignorant: "Indeed, I only call" meaning the call of worship "my Lord" meaning the One who created me and nurtured me, and there is no blessing for me except from Him alone.
