And when the abode is not pleasing except with good neighborliness, He said: "And We have removed" meaning: by that which We possess of greatness that nothing can hinder. "What" was in the world "in their hearts of malice" meaning: enmity and hatred and deceit from some of them towards one another that enters gently into the depths of the heart. And from the ghulul, which is the access through cunning to the subtle sins. It is said: he entered into something gently, just as love enters into the depths of the heart, until the one of the lower rank does not envy the one of the higher rank.

And when good neighborliness is not sweet except with the goodness of the residence by perfecting the abode, and when water is the cause of prosperity and the goodness of the dwellings, and when the flowing of it is more beneficial and more effective in bringing joy, Allah, the Exalted, said: "Flowing from" and He indicated their elevation with His saying: "Beneath them are rivers." So when the blessing of the water, by which is the life of all things, was completed for them, it became known that gardens and trees and all that brings beauty to the abode come from it. He informed about their expressing gratitude to Allah and to His Messenger, who brings about increase, by saying: "And they said: Praise be to Allah" meaning: encompassing the attributes of perfection "to Allah" meaning: the One who encompasses all things in knowledge and power for His essence, not for anything else. Then they described Him with what necessitates that for His attributes as well, saying: teaching that there is no cause for them to attain bliss except His grace in this world and the Hereafter: "Who has guided us" meaning: by clarity and success, and they attributed guidance to what they reached, releasing the cause upon the cause: "For this" meaning: for the deed that brought us to it. "And what" meaning: and the state that we "would not have been guided" originally due to the nature of our creation being contrary to that "if Allah had not guided us" meaning: the One to whom belongs all command. And the reading of Ibn 'Amir without the conjunction indicates that the sentence clarifies what preceded it, and both readings are conclusive against the Qadarites.

And when their belief in the messengers in this world was faith in the unseen from the perspective of knowledge of certainty, they were informed in the Hereafter of what they reached from the eye of certainty, with joy and boasting, not in servitude, and praise upon the messengers and those who sent them with their saying - opening with the letter of expectation because it is its place -: "Indeed, the messengers of our Lord have come" meaning: the Benefactor towards us "with the truth" meaning: the established that corresponds to the reality that has no end.

And when they rejoiced in themselves and belittled themselves and affirmed the virtue for its people, He turned to their saying, His saying, bestowing upon them the acceptance of their deeds. And when the secret is the informing about the inheritance, not being from a specified one, His saying was built for the passive: "And it was called out to them" meaning: completing their bliss "that" is the lightened form of the heavy or it is the clarifying one "This is the Paradise" the high one "You have been made to inherit" meaning: it has become yours without toil or rival "because of what" meaning: because of what "you used to do" because He - glorified is He - made it an apparent cause by His generosity, and the true cause is what they mentioned of His success.
