And when it was as if it was said as a reminder of the greatness of these verses: Look how We have detailed these verses with these outstanding details and presented them in these elegant styles. He said: ﴿And likewise﴾ meaning: and similar to this magnificent, glorious, and elevated detailing ﴿We detail the verses﴾ meaning: all of them so that they do not fall into what is not befitting of Us out of ignorance due to the lack of evidence ﴿And perhaps they will return﴾ meaning: so that their state is like that of one whose return from misguidance to what the guides call to of perfection is hoped for, if a lapse occurs, they may encounter it. And this is from the evidence of ﴿And that which is foul does not come out except as something vile﴾ [Al-A'raf: 58] and ﴿And We did not find for most of them any covenant﴾ [Al-A'raf: 102] and: ﴿I will turn away from My verses﴾ [Al-A'raf: 146].
