Commentary
And when this matter increased the anxiety of the Children of Israel due to what they sensed of the scent of relief, He, glorified and exalted is He, resumed the report about what He had confirmed them with through Musa, blessings and peace be upon him, saying: "Musa said to his people," meaning: the Children of Israel, in whom there is strength and standing in what they desire of matters if their hearts were to unite. "Seek help" meaning: attach the request for assistance "to Allah" who is greater than whom there is no greater, in what pleases Him from worship. "And be patient" then He explained that by saying: He is one who does what He wills, and there is no objection to Him nor escape from His decree. He said: "Indeed, the earth" meaning: all of it; Egypt and others "belongs to Allah" meaning: the One to whom no one has authority with Him, He repeated it as a reminder of His greatness and as a clarification and as a blessing; then He resumed His saying: "He gives it as an inheritance to whom He wills of His servants."
And when He informed that the relation of all to Him is one, He informed of what raises some of them above others, saying: "And the outcome" meaning: and the state that the end of the matter, even if a trial occurs, "is for the righteous" meaning: those who protect themselves from the wrath of Allah by doing what pleases Him. So there is no consideration for what you see in the immediate, for it may be a gradual leading to destruction.
