And when this is a remarkable matter for anyone who has even a little understanding, and the questioning increases the amazement, he said, causing them to be eradicated, so that the news of it necessitates the utmost knowledge of the particulars, like the claim with its evidence: "So do you see" meaning, O you who are addressed, knowledgeable of the people in all regions, "for them" meaning, specifically, and he emphasized the negation and expressed it with the source attached to the pronoun for emphasis, saying: "from any remaining" meaning, of remaining or a soul described by remaining. And Allah, glorified and exalted is He, saved Salih, peace be upon him, and those who believed in him [from among Thamud -] and the tyrants did not harm them. And Hud, peace be upon him, and those who believed in him from among 'Aad, not one of them perished. This indicated clearly that He, exalted is He, has complete knowledge of the particulars just as He has perfect encompassing knowledge of the universals, and of His power, choice, and wisdom. Therefore, the Muslim is not made like the criminal, nor is the wrongdoer like the doer of good.
