Surah Al-Haaqqa
Its purpose is to glorify the Creator by resurrecting the creatures to establish the truth and to obliterate falsehood by the complete revelation of knowledge regarding universals and particulars, and the perfection of power over the high and the low. It aims to manifest justice among all creatures, to distinguish the Muslim from the criminal by the pleasurable and the painful. Its naming as Al-Haaqqa is very clear in this, and it is the most indicative of what is contained in it.
'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, all perfection belongs to Him, and praise (is due) to Him. (He is) the Most Merciful, whose generosity encompasses (all) with justice, in greatness and glory. (He is) the Most Compassionate, who has favored the people of His love by standing at His limits so that they may attain, through the goodness of His proximity, elevation, earnestness, and success in their hopes and happiness.
* *When He, glorified and exalted is He, preceded in "Noon" the severe denial of equating the wrongdoer with the doer of good, and mentioned the Day of Resurrection and clarified it by the Day of the uncovering of the leg and the increase of hardships, and threatened with the great threat of the verse of entrapment that cannot be repelled by remedy, and concluded that the Quran is a reminder - meaning a nobility - and a reminder, and admonitions for all the worlds in their entirety by His mercy. As for after its revelation, it is by His warning, His promise, His admonition, His storytelling, His command, and His prohibition. As for before its revelation, it is by the testimony for them and against them. The interpretation of that and all its effects will only appear completely on the Day of the Greatest Gathering. That day is the greatest reminder for the worlds and an admonisher for them and a deterrent. All goodness is built upon remembering it and remembering the honor before the Sovereign, the Just. The secret in the revelation of the Quran is the reminder of that day which is the system of existence. He said, describing the Resurrection and the day in which He uncovers a leg, admonishing by mentioning it and warning of its matter: "Al-Haaqqa" [meaning] the hour that these deny, and it is the most certain of things and the clearest of them, so there is no falsehood for it nor for anything about it. Thus, there must be its rights, for it is established in itself, and from the bringing forth of matters in it by their realities, and the recompense upon it with the truth that there is no doubt in it for anyone from the creation. It is active in the sense of being acted upon in it, and it is also active because it prevails over every adversary. From "I confronted him, so I confronted him" means I prevailed over him in the truth, so I overcame him in it. It establishes the truth and must therefore rise above falsehood, crush it, and obliterate it. It establishes punishment for the wrongdoers and reward for the Muslims, and all that is in it is a reminder of steadfastness and clarity, for that is the requirement of wisdom. No ruler is pleased to leave his subjects without fairness among them, according to his claim. So how about the Wise, the All-Knowing? The story of the Companion of the Fish, peace be upon him, is the clearest evidence of the power over it.
