Commentary
And when the meaning of their saying is that what he says is the mixtures of one who is possessed by jinn, he confirmed by the constriction of the heart his saying, amazed by them. "And this Qur'an or the Messenger, blessings and peace be upon him, is nothing but a reminder," meaning an admonition and honor for all the worlds, meaning all of them, the high and the low among them. There is no one among them except that he knows that there is nothing that resembles it in the grandeur of its meanings, the sweetness of its words, the greatness of its composition, the precision of its understanding, the delicacy of its margins, and the eloquence of its verses. And he understands from it according to what Allah has prepared for him to correspond with the generality of its mention, the generality of the message for the one sent with it. And all that is in it of promise and warning, and rulings and admonitions, is inclusive for all of them. Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish between their Muslims and their criminals so that his words may be true, and his grandeur and beauty may be complete. Its conclusion, as you see, has returned to its beginning with the نون (noon) and the قلم (qalam) and what they write from this reminder. And he stripped away what they said about it of madness and oaths upon the great creation, which is this wise reminder. And he pointed out that it is a reminder for all creation with what is in it of promise and warning, that there must be the inevitable event, which is the Day of Resurrection, in which its interpretation, its summary, and its details will appear. And the path of its utmost clarity will become clear. And in it, its truths will be realized, and its majesty and subtleties will appear with what occurs from the reckoning. And the utmost clarity will be evident, and the error will be distinguished from the truth - and Allah is the Guide.
