And when the debris of this world is all a fleeting display and a diminishing shadow, it is not something to boast about, nor does anyone turn to it except those who possess these qualities. So if the greatest concern of his is, and the extent of his knowledge results in him being elevated above rights and arrogant towards the servants, he means by saying: 'for the sake of' that this described one 'has wealth' meaning mentioned in abundance 'and sons' which We have bestowed upon him. Thus, he becomes obeyed because of them. Therefore, it is necessary for him to show gratitude to Us because of them.
