"He said, O my people" thus he made it clear that the speech was for them all, and he called out to the heads of the witnesses.

And when the hearts had become empty from what was cast from this astonishing speech for the proof, and were prepared to accept the truth - he concluded the verse with his saying: "Indeed, I am free from what you associate" meaning: from this and other than it, by all means; thus he made clear the intended meaning because there remained in the tangible of the upper world no star greater than the sun nor more luminous.
