And when He informed of the completeness of knowledge and power, He informed of the predominance of His sovereignty and His great might. He stated that His actions are by way of compulsion and cannot be opposed. So if someone were to strive to sleep at a time other than its due time, he would not be able to, or if he were to stand at the time of sleep, he would be unable, or to revive at the time of death, he could not... and so on. He said: "And He does that while He alone has knowledge of the unseen of the unseen and the veils of greatness, the All-Prevailing." And as for His overpowering of existence, it is by annihilation and corruption, by transferring the possible from non-existence to existence at one time and from existence to non-existence at another time. He overpowers light with darkness and darkness with light, day with night and night with day—among other types of beings and shifts of the possible.
