Commentary
And when it came in this surah and what preceded it with what has come from the wonders of the details for all conditions, containing clear indications and astonishing clear signs - he said, adding to ﴿And thus We have tried﴾ [Al-An'am: 53] in contrast to the opposite, for in the test there is a type of concealment: ﴿And thus﴾ means: and like the trials by presenting some of what has precision and concealment from some aspects, so that We mislead whom We will, and the misguided is distinguished from the guided. ﴿We explain the signs﴾ that We want to clarify so that the path of the reformers becomes clear and is followed. ﴿And so that it may be clear﴾ means: to appear clearly ﴿the path of the criminals﴾ so that it may be avoided. He specifically mentioned this, although it is necessary to clarify the first, for repelling evils is more important.
