Commentary
And when it was something that could be accepted in itself - in general - for the name of Allah to be mentioned upon it - what is forbidden due to it being the property of another or having a doubt in it, He prohibited it in a way that encompasses others. So He said, in addition to ( ﴿So eat﴾ [Al-An'am: 118] ﴿and leave﴾ meaning: abandon it in any condition it may be, even if you think it is not permissible ﴿the apparent sin﴾ meaning: the known prohibition of this and others ﴿and its hidden﴾ from everything that has a doubt from sayings, actions, and beliefs. For indeed, Allah has made for it a sign in the heart, which is that it trembles within him (p-245) and does not settle, as he said ﷺ: "(And the sin is what stirs in the heart and fluctuates in the chest)" - narrated by Muslim from Al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an - may Allah be pleased with him. Then he explained this by saying: ﴿Indeed, those who earn sin﴾ meaning: even with the most subtle types of earning, as indicated by the abstraction of the action, which is the belief in the noble name.
[And when the rational person is one who fears from the absolute recompense, his saying is built for the passive voice]: ﴿They will be recompensed﴾ meaning: with a promise that there is no contradiction in it ﴿for what﴾ meaning: because of what ﴿they were﴾ with corrupt natures ﴿earning﴾ meaning: they acquire an acquisition that necessitates distinction, which is the utmost fear and removes ease. And the form of the active voice indicates that the actions of evil only occur through the treatment of the soul for the original sound nature.
