And when the position is for the knowledge that reveals the truths and clarifies what should be followed and what should be avoided - he said, explaining this report: "Indeed, your Lord" means: the One who is gracious to you by sending down this Book that reveals doubts and guides to the right path. "He is" means: alone "more knowledgeable". And because the situation is in great need of knowledge, he cut it off from what follows to precede understanding that He is more knowledgeable than anyone who is imagined to have knowledge absolutely. Then he said: "Who" means: knows who "goes astray" means: experiences misguidance at some point "from His path" means: the one that He has clarified with His knowledge. "And He is" means: alone "more knowledgeable of the guided ones" just as He is more knowledgeable of the misguided. So whoever commands you to follow Him, then follow Him, and whoever forbids you from it, then avoid it. So whoever goes astray, he will be led to ruin, and whoever is guided, he will be saved. So hold firmly to its causes, being cautious of the severe punishment on the Day of His reckoning.
