Commentary
And when it indicated that it is true from Allah by the knowledge of the people of the Book explicitly, and the people of the tongue implicitly, it indicated to him in another way, which is my testimony. That is, he did not say anything except that it was in accordance with what he said. And he could not - nor can anyone - prevent anything from what he informed of, nor delay it for an hour of the day, nor less nor more, by His saying, glorified and exalted is He, manifesting in the place of concealment, to remind him, blessings and peace be upon him, of what he has - glorified and exalted is He - of kindness, and to alert him to what He intends by it of honor and respect: "And completed"; that is: it was fulfilled and realized "the word of your Lord" [Hud: 119]; that is: the Benefactor to you, the Planner of your affairs while it is "truthfully"; that is: no one can present in anything of it a statement that deviates from the correspondence with reality.
And when truth is not contrary to injustice - He said: "and justly"; and when truth is justice, it may not be completed with the intent of the speaker, nor does the words of the commander succeed in preventing one who is stronger than him. He informed that there is no repeller of His command nor any successor to His judgment, explicitly what the beginning of the verse understood from the completion. And He manifested the place of concealment generally, for blessing and delight, and said: "There is no changer of His words"; that is: in that they are His words absolutely without specification by any type. Rather, everything that it informed of is certainly going to happen, whether one is pleased or displeased.
And when the one who changes something only succeeds in what he intends of the change if the changed upon does not know the successful causes for what he intended to rule over it, and the hindrances that obstruct it from being invalidated - He said, adding to what you estimate: So He is the Almighty, the Wise: "And He is"; that is: no one else "the Hearing"; that is: the one who comprehensively hears all that can be heard of sayings and actions, "the Knowing"; that is: the one who comprehensively knows all of that. So He is then the complete in ability, the one whose command is executed in all causes and hindrances, and He does not allow anyone to change anything of it even if he deceives or resembles.
