And when it became clear through this during the evidence and the multiplicity of proofs that the Qur'an is a treasure that has no equal, a glory that cannot be matched, and that it is at the pinnacle which the waves of thoughts have diminished before, and the windows of sight have become weary of gazing at it, and he concluded by stating that the intended meaning of the statement is the scholars, it was appropriate for him to alert to that so that their criticism of him by saying (You have studied) and similar words does not weaken him. He said, specifying to him ﷺ in addressing him, informing that he is the true scholar: "Follow"; meaning: you and those who follow you "what has been revealed to you"; meaning: adhere to acting upon it. Then he affirmed his praise by saying: "from your Lord"; meaning: the One who has bestowed upon you this statement. Then he justified that by saying: "There is no deity except Him"; meaning: no one else deserves to be followed in any matter, nor should attention be given to him in benefit or harm. "And turn away from the polytheists"; meaning: without conveying the message, for you are not responsible for anyone else. Your increased concern for their faith will not increase those whose misery is intended except in their persistence in their polytheism and confusion in the chains of their polytheism.
