And when the answer was certainly: You alone, he said, indicating that by this he means to highlight the greatness of this news: ﴿We﴾ meaning specifically ﴿made it﴾ by what our greatness necessitated. He has presented from its benefits what is more appropriate to the context of resurrection, which is its station, so he said: ﴿a reminder﴾ meaning something you will remember and by which you will remember with a great and noble remembrance about all that we have informed you of regarding resurrection and the great punishment of the Fire and what arises in it from the tree of Zaqqum and other than that from what we illuminate for the people of insight and understanding from the sciences. Ibn Burjan said: The weight of the spark from the tree, and the spark is the weight of the sound with them, and the weight of its creation of bodies is the weight of its creation of the tree of the Fire. It is remembered by its creation in the tree as the creation of life in bodies, and by its creation from its unseen that the great Fire is in the unseen of what we observe. And this is from the effects of its being in the atmosphere - it has ended. And He, glorified and exalted is He, has attached to it many of the means of livelihood that are indispensable for reminding them of what they have ignited, which is always present, so they are more deserving of being admonished. ﴿And a provision﴾ meaning creation, permanence, habitation, benefit, and reaching the ultimate goal of illumination, roasting, cooking, dissolving, binding, and glazing, and the fleeing of the beasts and other than that. The intended meaning is that it is a cause for all of that ﴿for the hungry﴾ meaning those whose bellies are empty - meaning they are free from poverty and enriched by those who descend upon the barren land. And the barren land, with the breaking and extending, means the empty wasteland that is far from habitation. And every human being prepared for the barren is described by it even if he is not in the state of description like that. And Al-Razi said: The strongest of opposites: to become rich and to become poor. And Abu Hayyan said: And these four that Allah, the Exalted, mentioned and made them stand upon regarding their creation and what sustains their living from food and drink, and the Fire is one of the greatest signs of resurrection, for in it is a transition from one thing to another and the creation of something from something. And for that reason, He commanded at its end to glorify Him - it has ended.
