Commentary
And when the decree was: 'Indeed, you have known the second creation, the sperm drop,' he emphasized with his words, drawing attention to the fact that when they were acting contrary to what they knew, they were as if they were denying this knowledge: 'And indeed, you have known,' meaning, O Arabs, 'the first creation,' the earthly one of your father Adam, blessings and peace be upon him, or the fleshly one of your mother Hawwa, peace be upon her, when there was no nature that necessitated that. Otherwise, something like that would have existed after that. And the sperm drop is for you, and each of them is a transformation from one thing to another. So, the One whom you witnessed His ability to do that, is He not able to transform you after you become dust back to what you were originally in form? And for this reason, he caused what he previously said: 'So why not,' meaning, why do you not 'remember,' meaning, a great remembrance that you dislike for yourselves, even if there is in it some hidden aspect - from what was indicated by the merging that the one blamed for it is in the unseen. Likewise, some of what was measured by it is that whoever was able to do these manifestations is able to do the return, rather it is easier in the course of your customs.
