Commentary
And when the time of resurrection was delayed from the descent of the Qur'an, He expressed it with His tool and confirmed it for the sake of their denial, saying: "Then" meaning after the resurrection after the gradual gathering. "Indeed, you" and He supported what he understood from the companions of the left; they are the lesser group of the companions of the right. He said: "O you who are misguided" meaning those who have been overwhelmed by ignorance among them and do not understand. Then He followed that with what necessitated the ruling upon them of misguidance, saying: "the deniers" meaning a denial arising from misguidance and adherence to that which only a deep-rooted person in denial of the truth would deny.
