And when it was customary that a virgin suffers from the husband due to the pain that befalls her from the removal of virginity, this indicated that there is no hardship there at all, neither from pain nor otherwise, by His saying: ﴿‘uruban﴾, the plural of ‘urubah, which is the affectionate woman who shows love to her husband. Al-Razi said in Al-Lawa'ih: the cleverness in understanding the husband's intention is like the cleverness of the Arabs. And when the agreement in age is more conducive to love and increased affection, He said: ﴿at-raban﴾, meaning at the same age and stature, daughters of thirty-three years and so are their husbands. Al-Razi said in Al-Lawa'ih: it is taken from the play of children with dirt - ended. And Al-Baghawi narrated through the chain of Abd ibn Humayd from Al-Hasan, who said: 'An old woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah to admit me to Paradise. He said: 'O mother of so-and-so! Indeed, no old woman enters Paradise.' So she turned away weeping. He said: 'Inform her that she will not enter it as an old woman, for indeed Allah, the Exalted, says: 'Indeed, We created them anew,' the verse.' Al-Tirmidhi narrated it from him in Al-Shama'il in this manner as a mursal narration, and Al-Bayhaqi narrated it in the Book of Resurrection from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, and Al-Tabarani in Al-Awsat from one chain from her, and from another chain from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him. Our Sheikh, the guardian of his era, Ibn Hajar, said: All of its chains are weak. Al-Baghawi also narrated through the chain of Al-Thalabi from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, from the Prophet ﷺ regarding this verse: 'Your old women in this world are blind and dusty, so He made them virgins.'
