And when He emphasized in describing their reward with goodness and purity, it indicated that their deeds were likewise, because the reward is of the same kind as the deed. So He, the Exalted, said: ﴿A reward﴾ meaning that this was done for the sake of the reward ﴿for what they were﴾ by nature and disposition ﴿doing﴾ meaning they renew their deed in the manner of continuity.
