And when the souls of the righteous, who have high and great aspirations, turn to the virgins, He said: ﴿No man has touched them﴾ meaning no kind of authority has dominated them. ﴿Before them﴾ means: the mentioned touching has been negated in all of the time that exists before the touching of the companions of these gardens upon them. If it had existed for a moment in any of the moments of the past, the negation would not have been true. ﴿Nor jinn﴾ so they are in the utmost exclusivity, each one with what is with him.
