And when the Day of Resurrection comes, it will have many colors and terrifying, lengthy, and famous situations. In each of them, there will be great matters and significant affairs. He mentioned some of what this time causes in terms of the distinction between the disobedient and the obedient through verses that Allah made a means for knowing them. He said: ﴿So on that Day﴾, meaning: it will be caused by the Day when the sky is split, for it ﴿will not be asked﴾ with a question of inquiry and seeking knowledge, but rather a question of reprimand and reproach. This is because it will not be said to him: Did you do such and such? Rather, it will be said to him: Why did you do such and such? On that day, it will be long, and it will have colors; sometimes he will be asked in it and sometimes he will not be asked. The matter will be extremely severe, and each color among those colors is called a Day.
