And when the threat by this is a kindness to them, it is a blessing upon them. And the pardon for addressing it by sending it, has caused his saying: "So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?" That is: the One who nurtures you by removing calamities and bringing benefits. "You both deny" the blessing of hearing from above or otherwise.
