And when this is a remarkable matter, indicating a clear indication of the completeness of His power, especially regarding the Hereafter, He said, causing it to be said: "So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?" That is: the One who created you and nurtured you. "You both deny" means: by the blessing of sight from the left side or otherwise. So why do you not reflect upon these principles from the types of existents, and believe in the Hereafter due to your knowledge of these barriers? That your death is a barrier and a separation between this world and the Hereafter, like the evening is between night and day. And if you were to seek this in the verses of the heavens and the earth, you would find it prevalent in all of creation.
