Commentary
And when the spreading may be a face of delay and respect, he clarified that the matter is contrary to that, as an increase in the horror of that day and a confirmation of what has preceded in its description: "rushing to the caller" meaning: hastening, fearful, approaching with their eyes towards him, not turning away from him, stretching their necks towards him, directing their heads, not looking to anything else, just as one does when looking in humiliation, submission, silence, and surrender.
And when he clarified the state of all, he restricted the state of the deniers and said: "They will say" meaning: in a manner of repetition: "the disbelievers" meaning: those who were in the world deeply entrenched in concealing the evidence and manifesting the misleading falsehoods: "This" meaning: the time we are in, by what we see of the horrors: "a difficult day" meaning: in the utmost difficulty, hardship, and severity, and that is according to their state in it.
